Introduction
The course covers the most essential elements for sexological diagnosis in the fields of psychosexology and medical sexology. The training is intended for psychologists, psychotherapists, educators, physicians and other professionals interested in the field of sexological diagnosis.
Training description
Both psychological and sexological diagnosis are forms of practice carried out by psychologists, psychotherapists, or physicians, and are applied in research and clinical practice. Methods of psychosexual diagnosis draw on specific theories regarding the etiology of sexual disorders.
In contrast, medical sexological diagnosis focuses on examining the influence of biological factors on the manifestation of sexual dysfunctions. It includes elements of psychiatric, endocrinological, and urological-gynecological assessment.
