Couples and marriage psychotherapy is a form of therapy that focuses on the relationship between two people. It helps both partners become aware of the causes of conflicts and encourages reflection.

Couples therapy may be helpful if:

  • you feel that you are drifting apart from each other
  • you love each other, but find it difficult to be together due to frequent arguments and misunderstandings
  • you experience difficulties in your sexual life
  • you are going through a crisis related to change (e.g. the birth of a child, decision to get married, children growing up, moving in together, death of a loved one, etc.)
  • you wish to repair wounds that make it difficult or impossible to be close (e.g. infidelity)
  • you want to improve communication
  • you experience recurring conflicts and conversations that do not lead to solutions
  • you wish to become closer in your relationship
