Marta Rawińska

Education and professional experience

She has many years of clinical experience, gained through her work at the Department of Psychiatry, Combat Stress and Psychotraumatology of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of National Defence, where she worked in both day-care and inpatient units.

She provided individual psychotherapy and couples therapy at the National Medical Specialist Clinic of the Society for Family Development, which was the first institution in Poland dedicated to sexual health care.

Specializations

• Doctor of Psychology from the University of Warsaw,
• certified cognitive behavioural psychotherapist (Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre),
• certified clinical sexologist of the Polish Society of Sexology (PTS).

Scope of activity

She conducts classes for students of the Medical Faculty at Lazarski University, as well as specialist training courses and workshops for various professional groups, including doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses, and teachers.

She provides clinical supervision for psychologists and psychotherapists.

She is the author and co-author of numerous publications related to clinical psychology, human sexuality, diagnosis, and psychotherapy.

She provides individual psychotherapy and couples therapy. She works with people experiencing life crises, difficulties in close relationships (including marriage, family, work, and sexual difficulties), loss or emotional disappointment, as well as those struggling with low mood, stress overload, or seeking personal growth and greater satisfaction in relationships with others.

She specialises in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, and sexual dysfunctions.

In her therapeutic work, she uses imagery techniques, integrating a cognitive behavioural approach with a humanistic approach.

She also provides psychotherapy in English.
