Małgorzata Starzec-Proserpio

Education and professional experience

She is a urogynecological physiotherapist and Doctor of Medical Sciences and Health Sciences.

She is a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Kraków and Warsaw, as well as the Second Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw (doctoral studies). She also studied physiotherapy at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.

She gained professional experience both in Poland and abroad, including in the Czech Republic, Tenerife, and leading research and clinical centres specialising in pelvic floor dysfunctions in Norway and Canada.

Scope of activity

She specialises in the treatment of chronic pelvic pain syndromes, with particular focus on pain-related sexual dysfunctions.

In addition to her clinical work, she is also involved in scientific research. As a research and teaching assistant professor at the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education (CMKP), she conducts research and prepares scientific publications on pelvic floor dysfunctions in women.

She continuously expands her professional qualifications by participating in numerous specialist courses and conferences.

She is a member of the Polish Society of Urogynecology, the International Pelvic Pain Society, and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
