Anna Kępczyńska-Nyk

Education and professional experience

In 2002, I graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw. Since 2005, I have worked at the Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology of the Independent Public Central Clinical Hospital in Warsaw, providing care for patients with internal medicine and endocrine disorders.

Since 2011, I have been employed at the Medical University of Warsaw as an assistant. I conduct classes and seminars in Polish and English in the fields of internal medicine and endocrinology for students of the First Faculty of Medicine and the English Division, as well as seminars on the propaedeutics of endocrinology for Dietetics students at the Faculty of Health Sciences.

In 2021, I obtained a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree.

I participate in scientific programmes conducted at the Department and am the author and co-author of medical publications. In 2011, I obtained the title of specialist in internal medicine, in 2015 in sexology, and in 2017 in endocrinology.

Scope of activity

In my clinical practice, I treat disorders of the thyroid gland, gonads (testes and ovaries), adrenal glands, parathyroid glands, and pituitary gland, as well as diseases of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and gastrointestinal systems.

My particular areas of interest include adrenal and gonadal disorders, including hyperandrogenism syndromes in women and menstrual disorders, as well as hormone therapy for transgender individuals.
