Education and professional experience
She is a urogynecological physiotherapist who completed a multi-module training programme accredited by the Polish Society of Urogynecology and is a therapist specialising in urogynecological prevention according to the Bebo concept.
She gained professional experience at the Żelazna Medical Centre, working both in hospital wards and in the outpatient clinic, providing individual therapy. She is also a childbirth education instructor.
She works with women of all ages who seek support with women’s health concerns. A large group of her patients are women in the perinatal period who are preparing for childbirth, as well as women after delivery or caesarean section and those attending preventive consultations. She works with women experiencing urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, or diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles.
Her particular professional interests include supporting women experiencing pain during sexual intercourse, menstrual-related pain, and chronic pelvic pain associated with conditions such as endometriosis, vulvodynia, or vaginismus.
Numerous physiotherapy courses, as well as training in osteopathy, have provided her with a broad range of techniques and tools, allowing her to offer women holistic support on their path to health. In therapy, she accompanies women with respect for their autonomy and personal resources.
She is passionate about psychology and completed postgraduate studies at SWPS University in the field of psychosomatics and somatopsychology. In her personal and professional life, she follows the principles of nonviolent communication (NVC). She is fascinated by motivational interviewing as a way of communicating with people based on empathy and respect. She is currently completing training to become a motivational interviewing specialist.
She is an editor of scientific publications and articles for women, including those published in Kwartalnik Laktacyjny and the Natuli portal, and she conducts workshops dedicated to women’s health.
Scope of activity

physiotherapeutic assessment of pelvic floor structures,

rehabilitation and re-education of the pelvic floor muscles (improving strength and endurance, normalising reduced or increased muscle tone, and increasing muscle flexibility and volume),

complementary support as part of comprehensive therapy, particularly in cases of vaginismus, vulvodynia/vestibulodynia, and endometriosis,

education on independent pelvic floor muscle activation and body awareness,

preparation for vaginal birth and caesarean section, as well as preventive consultations aimed at reducing the risk of pelvic floor dysfunction,

diagnosis and therapy of diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles,

assessment and treatment of scars, e.g. after episiotomy or caesarean section, as well as preparation for planned caesarean procedures,
-
care for women before and after urogynecological procedures (such as vaginal wall repair or suburethral sling procedures),
-
support in cases of pain during intercourse and painful menstruation,
-
functional ultrasound diagnostics and ultrasound biofeedback.
