Alicja Długołęcka

Education and professional experience

She is a pedagogue by education, an experienced sexual educator, and a psychotherapist. She holds a Doctor of Humanities degree and gained her professional experience through academic teaching as a long-time lecturer at the Faculty of Rehabilitation in Warsaw, where she conducted classes in psychosomatics and sexual rehabilitation. She is also a lecturer at the Postgraduate Studies in Sexual Education at the University of Warsaw.

Currently, she focuses on psychotherapeutic work, conducts workshops for women, and actively collaborates with foundations supporting people with disabilities.

She is the author of numerous publications and popular science books, including “Przypływ. O emocjach i seksualności dojrzałych kobiet” (“The Tide. On Emotions and Sexuality of Mature Women”), “Seks na wysokich obcasach” (“Sex in High Heels”), and “Zwykła książka o tym, skąd się biorą dzieci” (“An Ordinary Book About Where Babies Come From”).
